All About Tideline Surf

It's all in the name: Tideline is a brand inspired by the treasures found at the line where the sea meets the sand. Based on the idyllic Pembrokeshire coast, we make simple, sustainable products, teach yoga, and support like-minded small businesses. A desire to protect the wild places we love is at the core of everything we do.

~ We believe in a minimalist approach to life. We’d rather have a few well-made items we love than a buncha junk!

~ We aim to promote well being in our community through teaching yoga and mindfulness

~ We know small, local businesses make up the backbone of our communities. We love supporting like-minded brands that share our values

Meet Lauren, the founder of Tideline Surf

After leaving university in 2016 at the age of 18, I felt a growing sense of directionlessness in my life. In an effort to figure out what my next step would be, I decided to get back to the basics and pursue the things that made me truly happy- surfing, travelling, yoga, and spending time in the ocean. These simple pleasures became my key to living a fulfilling life, and I decided that my calling was to spread the joy I had found through starting my own business.

Collecting shells off the beach has always been my way of calming and centering myself. I began making shell necklaces with the treasures I found on my beach walks and with that, Tideline was born. The shell necklaces eventually expanded into more products- organic cotton t-shirts, cork yoga mats, and different types of jewellery- always with a strong focus on sustainability, durability and simplicity.

In 2020 I completed my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Qualification and Tideline Yoga was born, tying together all of my passions. Today we are focusing on supporting other like minded businesses, encouraging people to get in the ocean, cultivating a sense of wellbeing in our community through yoga and mindfulness, and spreading the message that joy can be found in the little things.
